The control of the geometrical characteristics of the joint after a welding operation remains the concern of the manufacturers in the field of welding of thin sheets and deposition of WAAM layers, despite the existence of all the new technologies such as the CMT process. Through this work, we try to contribute to the optimization of parameters that can have a remarkable role in improving these geometric characteristics. It has been concluded that the combination of the parameters arc length and arc dynamics has a direct influence on the geometric characteristics of the obtained bead.
